Communications & Public Relations

The Communications and Public Relations Office is responsible for managing media relations efforts on behalf of the Board of Commissioners and its administrative departments.  It is the goal of this office to provide clear and open communications to the citizens of Dawson County about the government’s goals, activities, and services. 

General inquiries about County programs, policies, and events from the media and the general public should be made to this office. 

Public Relations coordinates the publication of the Dawson County Citizens monthly newsletter, press releases, and has editorial responsibility for the county website.  Special events such as ground breakings and ribbon cuttings are also coordinated through the Public Relations office.
