Tuesday mornings:  9:00 a.m. until Noon

Thursday afternoons:  1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

Our Mission Statement

The Mission of the Dawson County Marshals Office is to serve the citizens of Dawson County. We are committed to making Dawson County a healthy and safe place to live for all of our residents. Guided by principles of responsiveness, reliability, integrity, fairness, and work ethic, we tirelessly work to bring people into compliance with our ordinances while providing education and resources to empower them with the knowledge of our ordinances. Through our dedication and communication we strive to protect the quality of life in Dawson County, leaving a legacy of positive outcomes for future generations. Alcohol Licensing and Employee Permits

The Dawson County Marshal's Office is responsible for issuing employee alcohol-serving permits. Relevant information and forms can be found on the Alcohol Licensing page.  All applicants must obtain a Background Check from the Sheriff's Office (Dawson County Sheriff's Office is $15.00 cash only) prior to applying for the employee alcohol serving permit.  The background check must be issued within 24 hours of applying for the employee alcohol serving permit.  Employees may only apply for employee alcohol permits on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until noon and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Animal Control

The Dawson County Marshal's Office is responsible for the enforcement and administration of the Dawson County Animal Control Ordinance.

Surrender of Animals must be done directly to the Dawson County Humane Society, Animal Control does not provide this service.
