Status:  Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership for the maintenance staff at a designated park or assignment. Duties include preparing and maintaining athletic fields and facilities for use by the department and the general public. Successful performance helps ensure safe and well-maintained grounds and ball fields and affects the public image of the county government.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.  Applicant must have the ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.  Applicant must have leadership experience and the ability to communicate and work together with staff and public. Applicant must have three (3) years of experience in parks maintenance or relatable grounds and facilities maintenance. Applicants must have possession of or the ability to readily obtain a driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Applicants must pass a background check and drug screening.
