  • Grades Kindergarten-5th
    • Kind/1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grade leagues
    • The grade your child is in is the grade level they must register to play football.  Realizing that registration will take place before the next school year begins, you will register your child for the grade they will be in at the start of the season.
  • Fee:  $175 resident
    • Fee incudes full pads, helmet, game jersey, game pants
    • Fee does not include required sports physical
    • A late fee of $20 applies to any registration accepted after the advertised registration deadline
  • Registration - check online calendar for specific registration dates
    • Online Registration begins in early April
      • 24 hours/day through midnight of final day
    • Walk-in Registration in early May
      • Weekdays 8:00AM-5:00PM
      • Final Monday open until 8:00PM
      • No Walk-in registration on weekends

  • Equipment Distribution/Uniform Fitting in June/July
    • Please select only one time slot per child and only one child per time slot (multiple players cannot share a time slot)
    • Fittings will be held inside the gym at Veterans Memorial Park. The park will supply helmets, shoulder pads and a game day jersey
    • Please arrive on time  
    • SIGN UP LINK will go live on Friday, May 10
  • Conditioning/Evaluations in July 
  • Required Documents Deadline in July
    • All Dawson County football participants must provide all of the following documents in order to be eligible to participate in the Dawson County league.  These requirements must be met in order for the child to participate in this activity. 
      • Birth Certificate
      • Sports physical
      • Most recent report card, which will serve as their grade verification (and can also serve as their proof of residency if they attend school in the Dawson County public school system). If the child lives in Dawson County but attends school in a different county, player must present proof of residency as well as a report card. 
  • Practices begin in July
  • Pictures in August*
  • Games begin late August*

PLEASE NOTE:  Traveling outside Dawson County will be necessary for this activity.  Admission fees will be charged at events associated with this activity.

The grade of the participant when the season begins is the grade he/she may participate.  A player may never move down a grade level and may only move up a grade level if there are not enough players in his/her grade level to form a team.
