TRAVEL TEAMS

Dawson County Parks & Recreation accepts registration for travel teams to utilize facilities at Veterans Memorial Park and Rock Creek Sports Complex for practice and game purposes.  Dawson County Parks & Recreation accepts team registration only and does not play any role in the actual formation of teams, selection of coaches, or any other operations of the team.  Practices and games for travel teams will be scheduled around regular Parks & Recreation activities and events.

• Team Registration:  July 1-15
• To apply for facility use for a travel team, please submit the Travel Team Application Packet found in the Supporting Documents section at the bottom of this page.  Submitting these forms acts as your official request and does not guarantee facility usage.  Payment will not be collected until facility use request has been approved.
• Park administration will evaluate all teams applying for facility use and will make final decisions to award and assign teams by July 31st.  Teams who apply after July 15th will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on availability.  If awarded facility usage, the team's Notice of Intent will act as the official registration form for that team and fees will be due.
• Term:  August 1 - July 31 (regardless of when team is registered)
• Practice Only Season:  $500  
• Practice + Game Season:  $1,000 
• A $40 non-resident fee will apply to all non-residents on the team's roster
