SWIM TEAM

The Parks & Recreation swim team in Dawson County is an outsourced program, coordinated and operated by Dawson County Swim Team, whose purpose is to provide a structured summer athletic activity for the children of our community.  The DC Swim Team provides opportunities for each participant to develop a positive self-image.  Opportunities are provided to participate in competitive swimming through venues of Dual meets, North Georgia Swim League (NGSL) meets, and Divisional/State meets.

• Ages 5-18
• Registration
  • Online opens the 1st Friday of February
• Practices begin Tuesday morning after Memorial Day
• Meets begin in June:  Saturdays
• District Meet is 1st week of July
• State Meet is 3rd weekend of July
