Pool at Veterans Memorial Park Opens

The pool at Veterans Memorial Park opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day each year. 

Public swim hours for the pool are as follows:

  • Monday-Saturday, 12:00-5:00PM
  • Sunday, 1:00-6:00PM
  • Once school begins for Dawson County for the 2025-2026 school year, the pool at Veterans will be open Saturdays 12:00-5:00PM and Sundays 1:00-6:00PM, with the exception of Labor Day, which will be open regular hours (12:00-5:00PM).

Daily admission is $3 per person (anyone getting in the pool) and is CASH ONLY (no bills larger than $20 accepted).  Season passes are also available for purchase at Rock Creek during regular business hours (weekdays 8AM-5PM) and online.
